Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") carefully before using Meesho Scan (the "Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. About the Service

Meesho Scan is a self-hosted tool that allows Meesho sellers to scan return parcel barcodes using a mobile phone and automatically search the AWB number on the Meesho Returns page in a Chrome browser. The Service consists of:

• A Chrome browser extension installed via Developer Mode (sideloaded).
• A mobile web application (Progressive Web App) accessible via a browser.
• A relay server that you deploy and operate on your own infrastructure.

Meesho Scan is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Meesho Internet Pvt Ltd in any way.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and a registered Meesho seller or authorised representative of one to use this Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. User Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Meesho Scan only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

• Use the Service to process returns for orders that are not legitimately yours.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service.
• Use the Service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the Service or third-party systems.
• Share your account credentials with individuals outside your business.
• Use the Service to circumvent Meesho's policies or platform rules.

5. Self-Hosted Server Responsibility

The relay server component of Meesho Scan is self-hosted by you on infrastructure you control. You are solely responsible for:

• The security, availability, and maintenance of your server.
• Keeping your server software and dependencies up to date.
• Any data stored on your server, including user accounts and scan logs.
• Compliance with applicable laws regarding data stored on your server.
• All costs associated with hosting and operating your server.

6. Chrome Extension Sideloading

The Chrome extension is distributed and installed via Chrome's Developer Mode ("sideloaded"). You acknowledge that:

• Chrome may display warnings about extensions not from the Chrome Web Store; these are standard warnings for all sideloaded extensions.
• You are responsible for keeping the extension files secure on your computer.
• You must update the extension manually by replacing the extension files and reloading it.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, code, and materials in Meesho Scan are the property of the respective authors. You may use the Service for your personal or internal business use. You may not redistribute, resell, or sublicense the Service without written permission.

The name "Meesho" is a registered trademark of Meesho Internet Pvt Ltd. Meesho Scan is an independent third-party tool and makes no claim to that trademark.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

• The Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at any particular time.
• Barcode scanning will successfully detect every barcode in every lighting condition.
• The AWB search on Meesho's platform will always function as expected (Meesho may update their website at any time).

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL MEESHO SCAN OR ITS AUTHORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU SHALL NOT EXCEED INR 0 (ZERO), AS THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED FREE OF CHARGE.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Meesho Scan and its authors from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third party's rights.

11. Modifications to the Service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without notice. We will not be liable to you or any third party for any such changes.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
